Today, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced its approval to establish the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Al-Muthanna University. The college, which will be located in the Rumaitha district, will include departments of pathological analysis and environmental health. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research also decided to lift the suspension of the College of Arts and create two new departments: Geography and Geographic Information Systems and the Civil Society Department. These decisions come as a culmination of the Muthanna University development plan announced by the University President, <\/p>\n

The plan aims to develop the university\u2019s aspects and address the negatives in order to provide an ideal atmosphere that reflects positively on the governorate. These efforts have produced great successes for the university over the past short period at the local and international levels.<\/p>\n
